Abstract (en)
The prefabricated tunnel arch (1) consists of a main layer (4) of strengthened, pre-stressed or fibre-reinforced concrete, and a secondary layer (5) of a refractory mortar that has a 28-day mechanical resistance of over 25 MPa, a thermal conductivity of below 1W/m.K at 20 deg C, and a resistance to temperatures as high as 1300 deg C for two hours. One face (2) of the main layer is designed to go against the inner wall of the tunnel, while the refractory mortar layer is fitted against the inner surface (6) of the main layer by threaded rods (12) and mechanical fixings. The refractory mortar can be made from an alumina cement containing granules of expanded minerals, clay, schist or slag.

L'invention concerne une pièce en béton, notamment voussoir de tunnel comprenant une couche principale en béton (4) et une couche secondaire (5) en mortier réfractaire assurant à la fois un complément de résistance mécanique et une protection contre l'incendie. Le mortier réfractaire présente une résistance mécanique à 28 jours supérieure à 25 Mpa, une conductivité thermique inférieure à 1 W/.m.°K à 20°C et une résistance aux très hautes températures allant jusqu'à 1300°C, durant 2 heures. Une première face (2) de la couche principale (4) est destinée à être placée contre la paroi intérieure du tunnel, et la couche secondaire (5) est assemblée à la couche principale (4) au niveau d'une deuxième face (6) de ladite couche principale (4), opposée à ladite première face (2). <IMAGE>
