[origin: EP1255021A1] The invention concerns a glazed firewall comprising at least a leaf (2, 4) and a frame (6), a front side and a rear side wherein the elements forming the openings (2, 4) and the frame (6) are made of solid wood, their outer surfaces extending in a plane, either that of the front side, or that of the rear side when the openings (2, 4) are closed; the frame (6) is provided with a peripheral raised rabbet (20) and the openings with a raised rabbet (22) with dimensions matching those of the raised rabbet (20) such that a Z-shaped interstice (24) separates each opening (2, 4) from the corresponding trim (6); a continuous heat-swellable joint is embedded in one of the surfaces of the interstice (24) along each of the branches of the Z, proximate to the central bar of the Z.
