Abstract (en)
[origin: WO02088651A1] The invention relates to a force measuring cell comprising a force transducer for recording a weight, whereby the force transducer has a part that does not deform when loaded and a force introducing part that is provided with an elastically deformable part. The elastically deformable part and the non-deforming part have, in a measuring section, a defined distance from one another that changes during loading. The inventive force measuring cell also comprises a sensor arrangement provided with an inductively operating sensor element, which is arranged inside the measuring section opposite a signal-emitting surface in order to detect a change in distance that is provided in the form an electrical signal. Finally, the force measuring cell comprises a switching circuit for converting the electrical signal into a weighing signal. The elastically deformable part or the non-deforming part of the force transducer has, in the area of the measuring section, a recess that is situated opposite the signal-emitting surface, and the sensor element is arranged and encapsulated inside the recess whereby being oriented toward the signal-emitting surface.
