Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1384518A2] The paint channel (10) at the paint color change unit, of a paint spraying assembly, is closed off by a slide (6) before a valve (F1-F5) is opened for the selected paint. This reduces the volume of paint in the channel, to be flushed out through the outlet (4) before using the next paint. The valves are needle valves, with a drive (9) to open and close the paint feed channels (12) into the paint channel.
