A papermaking assembly has a continually-moving dewatering belt (1) which repeatedly passes a cleaning station (3) in which a fluid is directed at the belt by a spray jet (5). After leaving the zone in which the belt is washed, the belt passes through a second station in which it is exposed to a blower (4) air jet (6). The washing station has a cleaning unit which directs a rotating spray jet (5) under a hood (3) at the belt upper face at a distance of from 10 to 50 mm. The hood is coupled to an air suction pipe (8). The spray jet directs water and cleaning additives at a temperature of 20-120C at a pressure of 10 to 1000 bar. Some of the fluid passes through the belt and is retained by the water trap. The air blow-jet (6) has a slot air outlet and directs air at a temperature of 30 to 150C and pressure of between 1 and 20 bar at the belt. The jet is presented at an angle of approx. 60 to the belt and lifts surplus water from the belt and promotes drying.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungs- und Entwässerungsvorrichtung für ein endlos umlaufendes Band (1) in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn bestehend aus zumindest einer Reinigungseinheit (3), welche Reinigungsflüssigkeit über wenigstens eine Sprühdüse (5) auf das Band (1) sprüht. Dabei soll das vom Band (1) nach der Reinigung mitgeführte Wasser dadurch verringert werden, dass der Reinigungseinheit (3) in Bandlaufrichtung (2) wenigstens eine Blaseinheit (4) nachgeordnet ist, welche Druckluft über zumindest eine Blasdüse (6) auf das Band (1) bläst. <IMAGE>
