[origin: EP1384968A1] The heat transfer unit has a storage box (1) with its connecting edge (2) at the peripheral edge of a pipe base. A flow guide plate (5) of metal or injection molded plastics, parallel to the pipe base, has an edge (6) around it which is structured to give either a mechanical fastening to the storage box at the pipe base by a clip, or a bonding by soldering or welding or an adhesive. The guide plate edge cross section is a profile (8) at least partially open outwards, in a U-shape where one leg (9) links with the box edge at its outer surface, and the other leg (11) is attached to the peripheral edge of the pipe base at its outer surface.
