[origin: WO02093449A1] The invention concerns a universal method for identifying human body profiles characterised in that it comprises: a) preparatory steps which consist: in a1) importing morphological data derived from three-dimensional digitisation of bodies of either a target population (3) or of live models considered as being representative of a given target; a2) organising and storing said data on the basis of predefined key criteria so as to obtain a database of standard profiles of human bodies (11); and b) a subsequent step which consists in selecting in said database (11) a profile adapted to the body of an observed subject (13).
