[origin: FR2823592A1] The emergency power feed comprises a fuel cell (2) fed with hydrogen and air or pure from specific compressed hydrogen and air circuits (12, 24) of the nuclear plant, or specific oxygen circuits. The fuel cell, cooled by a circuit (31) delivering demineralized water from a tank (30) is designed to supply electricity to the motor driving a pump injecting water into the seals of a primary pump in a PWR, and also monitoring and control circuits in the event of a loss of their normal power supply. It can also comprise a hybrid system with a fuel cell and a super-condenser installation in parallel or in series.
