Mascara brush comprises a number of bristles (4) which are held between two twisted wire sections forming a core having at least two curved core sections (2, 3) extending from a common handle section (5). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Production of a mascara brush; and (2) Use of a mascara container having a round mascara opening through which the above brush is inserted into the container. Preferred Features: The core sections have the same radius of curvature. The handle section is formed by bristle-free wire sections twisted together and extending from the core sections.

Ein Mascara-Bürstchen (1) weist eine Mehrzahl von Borsten (4) auf. Diese sind von einem Borstenträger gehalten, der mindestens zwei von einem gemeinsamen Griffabschnitt (5) ausgehende gebogene Seelenabschnitte aufweist. Bei einem Verfahren zum Herstellen des Mascara-Bürstchens (1) werden die beiden Seelen (2, 3) gemeinsam zwischen einem Biegestempel (12) und einem Gegenstempel (13) eines Biegewerkzeugs gebogen. Für das Mascara-Bürstchen lässt sich ein Mascara-Vorratsbehälter mit runder Mascara-Abstreiföffnung verwenden. Es resultiert ein Mascara-Bürstchen (1) mit gut vorgebbarer Mascara-Auftragsmenge. Auch ein verbessertes Kämmergebnis sowie ein Curl-Effekt sind erreichbar. <IMAGE>
