Abstract (en)
The ski binding includes a jaw which is mobile between two positions - a closed retaining position and an open release position. The jaw is held in its closed position by a mobile bolt (25). A pneumatic energy source operates with an electrovalve (40) linked to a pressurised gas reservoir (42) in order to provide rapid release of the binding. The system for retaining a boot on a ski comprises a release block having at least one retaining jaw (15) which serves to anchor a part of the boot on to the ski. The jaw is mobile between two positions - a closed position in which it holds the boot in place, and an open position in which it releases the boot. The jaw is held in its closed position by a mobile bolt (25). The movement of the bolt (25) is controlled by a pneumatic energy source without any other energy supply. The pneumatic energy is delivered via an electrovalve (40) linked to a pressurised gas reservoir (42). An expansion valve may be placed at the outlet from the gas cylinder. The locking bolt (25) pivots about an axis (26) and is elastically biased towards its closure position by a spring (30).

L'invention concerne un ensemble de retenue d'une chaussure sur une planche de glisse comprenant un bloc de déclenchement ayant au moins une mâchoire (15) de retenue d'un organe d'accrochage de la chaussure, la mâchoire (15) étant mobile entre une position fermée où elle retient ledit organe d'accrochage et une position ouverte où elle libère l'organe d'accrochage, la mâchoire étant maintenue en position fermée par un verrou mobile (25). L'ensemble est caractérisé par le fait que le mouvement du verrou (25) est piloté par une source d'énergie pneumatique à l'exclusion de toute autre énergie. <IMAGE>
