Abstract (en)
The indicator light includes a lamp (2), a reflector (3), and a cover glass (6). An additional intermediate screen carries a series of prisms (7c) on one surface, and a series of colored seatings on the opposite surface. Light leaving the lamp passes through clear areas between the color zones, whilst externally the lamp cover appears colored. The indicator light for a motor vehicle comprises a lamp (2) and a reflector (3), with a cover glass (6). Between the cover glass and the reflector there is an optical screen (5), and then between this and the glass there is an additional intermediate screen. On its face directed towards the optical screen there is a series of prisms (7c), and on the surface facing the glass there is a series of seatings (10) filled with a colored material (9). These seatings are lined up with the prisms. Between the prisms there are plane uncolored zones (8). The action of the prisms is such as to ensure that the light emerging from the lamp is channeled through the uncolored zones (8).

Feu de signalisation de véhicule automobile du type comprenant une lampe (2), un réflecteur (3), une glace (6) et, entre la glace (6) et la lampe (2), un écran optique (5), caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, inséré entre la glace (6) et l'écran optique (5), un écran intermédiaire présentant, sur sa face tournée en regard de l'écran optique, une série de prismes (7c) et, sur sa face tournée vers la glace (6) et au droit des prismes, des logements (10) remplis d'une matière colorée (9), en ménageant entre les prismes (7c) des zones (8) planes incolores, tandis que l'écran optique (5) est aménagé pour canaliser les rayons issus de la lampe vers lesdites zones (8). <IMAGE>
