Abstract (en)
[origin: WO02092482A1] The invention relates to a device for accommodating a supply roll (3) around which web strips are wound, particularly a label supply roll. Said device comprises a mandrel-like accommodating core (15), a retaining device by means of which the supply roll can, in a temporary manner, be stopped and/or clamped on the accommodating core, and comprises a device for axially aligning the supply roll. In order to be able to comfortably fix and align a supply roll in an easy manner, the invention provides that the retaining device that fixes the supply roll and the device provided for axially aligning the supply roll can be actuated by a shared drive (30, 16). The actuation preferably ensues automatically.
