Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2823330A1] Method for managing data designed to be stored into a memory (6). The data is designed to be managed in two modes. The method includes the following stages: (a) provide an identification, at the data development phase, which permits respective identification of data designed to be managed according to the different modes, and; (b) control storage and/or data use on the basis of the provided identification (E6,P1). An Independent Claim is also included for: a data management system. The data destined for the first mode of management is data whose use is only provisory relative to data destined for the second management mode. Identification is integrated in the data. The data includes code relative to an executable program of which a part, identified as being allocated to the first mode, relates to code destined only to be used at the program initial stage. The memory (6) is situated in a communicating device and the data for first mode relates to application personalizing code at the initial stage. Management of data storage includes the following sub-stages: (a) establish addresses in memory for identified data (E14); detect the end of identified data (E22) use, and; authorize afterwards the reuse of a part of the addresses for the later storage of other data for these addresses.
