Abstract (en)
Rotary atomizing turbine comprises a rotatably mounted turbine wheel with several turbine blades, several nozzles (9-11) for blowing drive gas onto the turbine blades, and an intermediate chamber (12) connected to the nozzles and receiving the drive gas. The intermediate chamber has a first inlet (13) and at least one second inlet (14) for the drive gas supply. An independent claim is also included for a rotary atomizer for a coating system comprising the above rotary atomizing turbine. Preferred Features: The intermediate chamber is peripherally arranged around the axis of rotation of the turbine wheel. The nozzles are Laval nozzles.

Rotationszerstäuberturbine zum Antrieb eines Glockentellers in einem Rotationszerstäuber für eine Beschichtungsanlage, mit einem drehbar gelagerten Turbinenrad mit mehreren Turbinenschaufeln, mehreren Düsen (9-11) zum Anblasen der Turbinenschaufeln mit einem Antriebsgas, und einer mit den Düsen (9-11) verbundenen Zwischenkammer (12) zur Aufnahme des Antriebsgases, wobei die Zwischenkammer (12) einen ersten Einlass (13) zur Zuführung des Antriebsgases aufweist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Zwischenkammer (12) mindestens einen zweiten Einlass (14) zur Zuführung des Antriebsgases aufweist. <IMAGE>
