Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1388614A2] A feed conveyor (3) is carried on a lorry. Posts (1) are deposited on the conveyor by a crane and conveyed to a cross arm (6). An hydraulic operating system (7) pivots the arm to place the post in a vertical position for acceptance by the ram unit (5) by placing it in the holder devices (10,11) : An independent claim is also included for a method.
