Connecting element (1) for a mounting system consisting of several supports, especially for a mounting system with system supports, comprises a first arm (2) and at least one second arm (3). At least one of the arms has a slot (4, 5) for fixing the connecting element to a support or a substructure using a fixing element which passes through the slot. The arm has at least over the length of the slot catch devices (6, 7) in which the counter-catch device of a fixing element engages. Preferred Features: The catch devices are arranged on the side of the arm facing away from the support. The catch devices are a tooth arrangement with a tooth pitch of preferably 2.5 mm.

Ein als Winkelelement (1) ausgebildetes Verbindungselement für ein Montagesystem mit Systemträgern umfasst zwei Schenkel (2; 3), wobei die Schenkel (2, 3) mit Langlöchern (4, 5) versehen sind. Der Systemträger weist an seinen Aussenwandungen Öffnungen in einem vordefinierten Abstand auf. Im Bereich der Langlöcher (4, 5) sind Rastmittel (6, 7) angeordnet, in die Gegenrastmittel eines Befestigungselements in Eingriff bringbar sind. Zur Befestigung des Winkelelements (1) an einem Systemträger wird ein Befestigungselement durch die Langlöcher (4, 5) und die Öffnungen in der Aussenwandung des Systemträgers hindurchgeführt und das Befestigungselement verspannt. Das in die Rastmittel (6, 7) eingreifende Gegenrastmittel schafft eine formschlüssige Verbindung und ermöglicht eine von den Öffnungen in den Aussenwandungen des Trägers weitgehend losgelöste Positionierung und Fixierung des Winkelelements (1).
