Abstract (en)

Between the first inner layer (2a) (PE) and the second outer layer (2b) (ethylene copolymer) there is a third layer (2c) of bonding agent. This includes little or no filler. The third layer is less than 0.2 mm thick. The outer, highly-filled second layer is extruded onto the uncooled, still-hot third layer. The third layer, comprising a film of bonding agent, is applied onto the first layer. The cable is run into the film longitudinally, or wrapped by winding it on. The second layer is extruded over it. The bonding agent melts at 70-100[deg]C. An independent claim is included for the method of making the cable, by co-extrusion and over-extrusion.

Es wird ein elektrisches Kabel, bestehend aus einer Kabelseele (1) und einem die Kabelseele (1) umgebenden Mantel (2) beschrieben, wobei der Mantel (2) eine erste innere Schicht (2a) aus Polyethylen und eine zweite äußere Schicht (2b) aus Ethylen Copolymer, die durch Zugabe von speziellen flammhemmenden Füllstoffen bzw. Zusatzstoffen flammfest gemacht ist, aufweist. Zwischen der ersten inneren Schicht (2a) und der zweiten äußeren Schicht (2b) ist eine dritte Schicht (2c) aus einem Haftvermittler angeordnet, wobei der Haftvermittler der dritten Schicht (2c) keine oder nur äußerst geringe Anteile an Füllstoffen enthält. <IMAGE>
