[origin: DE10122464C1] The invention relates to a casing ring for the low-pressure turbine area of a gas turbine comprising segments that are lined up next to one another. These segments are arranged between a moving-blade ring, which is provided with a shroud, and the housing of the gas turbine, they support an inlet lining and hold, in a positive manner, guide blades that are located upstream. Each segment comprises a hot gas-side seal support and a housing-side securing element. The seal support and the securing element are placed at the greatest possible distance from one another and have only the smallest possible mutual points of contact. The securing element is directly supported on the housing of the gas turbine in an axial manner.
