[origin: EP1389430A1] The system to transport tobacco strand materials has a conveyor belt (20), with suction, with at least one belt guide bar and at least one channel cheek for the tobacco strand. The belt guide bar and the channel cheek are in a one-piece component structure (8,10). Ceramic plate inserts (16,18) are fitted into grooves (12,14) at the component structure, and are clamped by their projections (17,19).
