[origin: EP1389711A2] The built-in illuminating unit comprises a housing (1) whose walls (2, 3, 4, 5) take the form of extruded metal profiles provided with right-angled outer and inner flanges at one end respectively for forming a mounting frame (25) and for clamping a transparent glass or plastic cover pane. The other end of the profiles is provided with a channel for fastening screws of a rear cover to the housing.
