Abstract (en)

The furniture a mounting rail (24) which is attached along the edge of the work-surface (12), under its top surface. The rail may be attached to a cupboard body (10). A profile rail (22) extends parallel to the mounting rail. The work surface is held between the mounting rail and the profile rail by holding strips (26). The mounting rail may comprise a bus-bar, or form a cable conduit.
