Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1391266A2] The centering chuck assembly incorporates a hook (1) with a recurved hooked end (2) on the end of an arm (3). The arm has a base portion with a curved slot allowing tilting and sliding movement on a pin in a chuck drive fitting (SA). An adapter plate (4) containing a spring (11) fits on the front surface (10) of the drive. The centering mandrel (5) has a slit (6) which can accommodate the hook.
