Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1391269A2] A central shaft (9) holds a sunwheel which meshes with planet wheels in mesh with the internal teeth (7) of the ring gear (8). Balls (15) engage with sloping faces (20,21) on a spring-loaded (27) support ring (19), and are accommodated in apertures (14) in a bearing ring (13). The balls project inside the bearing ring and engage in cutouts (16) in the outer rim of the ring gear.
