In a paper making assembly an essentially fixed but adjustable blade scrapes the surface of a rotating drum. The blade is mounted on an arm which rises and falls in response to the change in pressure within a flexible hose (8) under the arm (5). In its axial direction the hose (8) is esp. longer than the arm. The arm end makes contact with a de-activating switch limiting arm travel. The de-activation switch prevents contact between the hose (8) and the arm (5) in a given movement sector and limits pressure by the arm (5) on the base (7). The de-activation switch has an effective axial length which limits the force exerted by the blade holder (5) with the hose (8) along the length of the blade (4).

Es wird eine Schaberanordnung (1) angegeben mit einer Schaberklinge (4) und einem Klingenträger (5), der um eine Achse (6) schwenkbar an einem Trägerhalter (7) angeordnet ist, wobei zwischen dem Trägerhalter (7) und dem Klingenträger (5) mindestens ein unter Druck setzbarer Schlauch (8) angeordnet ist, der sich parallel-zur Achse (6) erstreckt. Man möchte den Anpreßdruck der Schaberklinge an einer Walze bei einfachem Aufbau möglichst gleichmäßig gestalten. Hierzu ist vorgesehehen, daß der Schlauch (8) in Axialrichtung länger als der Klingenträger (5) ist und im Bereich jedes axialen Endes des Klingenträgers (5) eine Deaktivierungseinrichtung (10) vorgesehen ist, die eine Wirkung des Drucks im Schlauch (8) auf den Klingenträger (5) in einem vorbestimmten, am Ende des Klingenträgers (5) angeordneten Abschnitt (14) begrenzt. <IMAGE>
