[origin: EP1391552A1] In a paper making assembly an essentially fixed but adjustable blade scrapes the surface of a rotating drum. The blade is mounted on an arm which rises and falls in response to the change in pressure within a flexible hose (8) under the arm (5). In its axial direction the hose (8) is esp. longer than the arm. The arm end makes contact with a de-activating switch limiting arm travel. The de-activation switch prevents contact between the hose (8) and the arm (5) in a given movement sector and limits pressure by the arm (5) on the base (7). The de-activation switch has an effective axial length which limits the force exerted by the blade holder (5) with the hose (8) along the length of the blade (4).
