[origin: EP1391661A1] A casing (10) includes a front-side part (16) in which is formed a suction inlet (26), a topside part (14) in which is formed a topside emission outlet (21), and a back plate (11). The casing (10) contains a heat exchanger (30) mounted in the suction inlet (26) and a mixed flow fan (51) made up of a fan motor (53) mounted on the side of a back surface of the heat exchanger (30) and a fan rotor (52) which is activated by the fan motor (53). The mixed flow fan (51) is mounted in such a way that the fan motor (53) is located on the front side of the fan rotor (52). Formed on the side of a back surface of the mixed flow fan (51) is an emission flow path (27) along which a part of air blown out of the mixed flow fan (51) flows between the mixed flow fan (51) and the back plate (11) of the casing (10) toward the topside emission outlet (21). <IMAGE>
