Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1393666A2] The frame is assembled of two end parts (1), each with two integrated legs (2) and two side parts (3) to be inserted between the ends (1). Each of the outer elements (1) is bent in order to form an upper rim following the contours of the flanged rim of the bathing tub, while the legs (2) are spread apart towards the bottom for maximum stability. Each of the side parts (3) has two vertical outer segments (5) and a central segment bent towards the center of the bottom of the bathing tub in order to support same. The length of the vertical segments (5) facilitates the upper ends to enter the space under the flanged rim preventing the tub from tilting inside the frame. The parts (1, 3) are joined with wing nuts (6) for easy assembly.
