Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1394329A2] The truck for cleaning street drains has a telescopic suction hose (3) linked to a tank (2), and supported by a telescopic jib (7) for its deployment. The jib has a base carrier (9) for an extending carrier (10) as a number of linked sections (10a-10c). As the carrier is extended, its links are moved by a limit stop in a curved path to bring the suction hose from the horizontal into a vertical downwards alignment to be inserted into the drain.
