Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1394364A1] The device has a turbine housing with at least one exhaust gas feed channel and rotatable turbine rotor to which gas is fed via a control grating enclosing the rotor with variable turbine geometry. The grating has axially separate blade bearing rings (6) bounding a blade volume. At least one of the rings has distance holders (16) formed on it in one piece and distributed in the peripheral direction to maintain the axial separation of the rings. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a blade bearing ring for an inventive turbocharger.
