[origin: WO02076261A1] The invention relates to a carrying device (1) for a shopping bag comprising a flexible grip, for instance, for a shopping bag consisting of plastic foils with handle holes. In order to facilitate carrying of shopping bags that are more or less filled and that have a flexible grip or a pair of grips, and to prevent the contents to fall out when the shopping bag is put down on the ground or to hold the carrying device on the corresponding shopping bag, the invention provides a carrying device (1) comprising a grip part (2) having a length corresponding approximately to the width of a hand and fitted with a web (3) extending crosswise to the longitudinal extension of the grip part (2) and away therefrom, said web projecting into two arms (4, 5) that form a grasping space (6, 7) together with the web (3) for an area of the flexible grip of the shopping bag that is looped around the web (3).
