[origin: DE10128955A1] The demountable scaffolding comprises several walk-on levels (11) supported by vertical struts (12, 13) which support at predetermined vertical spacing ring rosettes (14) to take horizontal railings (16, 17). To attach one or more railings above one level (11) at least the topmost railing of one stage is attachable to the associated rosette through an adapter (21) which when attached to the rosette supports a railing holder (22) above same whereby the distance from the rosette is smaller than the distance between two vertically spaced rosettes.
