Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02080052A1] The invention relates to a machine arrangement comprising at least one chargeable gaming or slot machine that is connected to a remote central data processing device via a chargeable data line. During the operation of the gaming or slot machine, management and security-related data is transmitted to the central data processing device for evaluation, monitoring and teleadjustment. According to the invention, said arrangement is characterised in that at the location of the gaming or slot machine at least one motivational machine, using which free motivational games, information, advertising, the Internet or similar can be received from the central data processing device, is connected to the gaming or slot machine by means of a release device in such a way, that a data flow can be fed from the central data processing device to the motivational machine via the data line, if the latter has been activated by the operation of the gaming or slot machine for the transmission of the management or security-related data of said machine to the central data processing device. A large number of machine arrangements of this type comprising gaming and/or slot machines and motivational machines that are remote from one another can be interconnected via the central data processing device.
