Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1396213A1] The synchronising mechanism is biased by a spring assembly (23) which has at least one coil compression spring (24) mounted parallel to the sliding direction of the seat support (4) and associated with its own abutment arm (25) whose front end is attached to the base support (1) and whose rear end freely extends to form an abutment (27) for the rear support of the compression spring. The at least one compression spring is supported by its front end on an abutment (28) formed on the seat support. To adjust the pretension of the compression spring the associated abutment arm is mounted on the base support longitudinally displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the seat.
