A circular knitting machine has a needle cylinder (1), a cylindrical lock segment, a ribbed disk (9) with a ribbed lock segment (11). The assembly has esp. a thread guide (25) attached to and moving with respect to the cylindrical lock segment A circular knitting machine has a needle cylinder (1), a cylinder lock segment (6), a ribbed disk (9) with a ribbed lock segment (11). The assembly further has a has an axis of rotation (7) which is parallel to the needle cylinder (1) and ribbed disk (10).and a thread (20) guide (25). The cylindrical lock segment (6) with thread guide (25) and ribbed lock segment (11) rotate relative to each other around the axis of rotation. In addition, the needle cylinder (1), ribbed disk arrangement (9) and thread guide (25) slide relative to each other parallel to the axis of rotation. The thread guide (25) is attached to and moves with respect to the cylindrical lock segment (6).

Es wird eine Rundstrickmaschine mit einem Nadelzylinder (1), wenigstens einem Zylinderschloßsegment (6), einer eine Rippscheibe (10) und wenigstens ein Rippschloßsegment (11) aufweisenden Rippscheibenanordnung (9), einer zum Nadelzylinder (1) und zur Rippscheibenanordnung (10) koaxialen Drehachse (7) und wenigstens einem zur Führung eines Fadens (20) bestimmten Fadenführerelement (25) beschrieben. Das Zylinderschloßsegment (6) mit dem Fadenführerelement (25) und das Rippschloßsegment (11) sind relativ zueinander um die Drehachse (7) drehbar. Der Nadelzylinder (1) und die Rippscheibenanordnung (9) mit dem Fadenführer (25) sind außerdem relativ zueinander parallel zur Drehachse (7) verschiebbar angeordnet. Das Fadenführerelement (25) ist erfindungsgemäß beweglich am Zylinderschloßsegment (6) gelagert (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
