[origin: EP1396615A1] The internal combustion engine (1) has a lubricant sump (3) with at least one channel (5) that is not provided for lubricant and has no connection to the lubricant circuit in the internal combustion engine. This channel is designed to be suitable for the connection of combustion air hoses (8,8').
