[origin: EP1396681A1] The burner controller (15) evaluates the signal of combustion sensor and adjusts an operating component for fuel feed or air feed by comparison of the signal with a set value. The burner controller determines the set value on the basis of a measure for the instantaneous burner output, and also on the basis of a measure of the instantaneous burner energy content. The burner controller determines the set value also by processing of data through desired signals of the combustion sensor during different fuel energy contents on the basis of the measure for the instantaneous fuel energy content. An Independent claim is included for a method for the adjustment procedure for a combustion controller.
