Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02103173A1] The invention relates to an exhaust flap (3) for closing an exhaust channel (1). According to said invention, said flap is provided with a closure plate (5) which closes at least part of the cross-section of the exhaust flap (1) whereon the exhaust gas flow is directly guided. A flow body (14), which is arranged close to the closure plate (5) and on which the exhaust flow can be guided, acts as a control element for said exhaust flap (3).
