[origin: WO02103207A1] A rotary appliance, such as a fan, comprising a cast-plastic rotating part, such as a fan blade wheel, rotated by a drive apparatus, such as an electric motor, said blade wheel being provided with lightening holes especially to keep material concentrations sufficiently small. The lightening holes (16) are so arranged that they also serve as mounting holes for the balancing weights needed for balancing so that the balancing weights can be placed in the lightening holes, and/or as mounting holes for an accessory fitted on the appliance.
