Abstract (en)

[origin: WO02097958A2] The invention relates to a circuit configuration comprising a control loop that can be especially used for controlling a resonant converter with several outputs. The aim of the invention is to provide a circuit configuration comprising a control loop for converts with several outputs that comprises a protective circuit that can be produced with as few circuit elements and arithmetic operations as possible and that reliably protects the circuit from overcharges. To this end, the control loop is used to generate a pulse-width modulated control signal (20) depending on two measuring signals (Va, Vb) connected to the inputs of the control loop (20). Said control loop further comprises a comparative circuit (212) that compares the pulse-duty factor ( delta ) of the control signal (20) with a maximum value ( delta max) of the pulse-duty factor and a minimum value ( delta min) of the pulse-duty factor that can be predetermined. When the pulse-duty factor ( delta ) lies outside the range between the maximum value ( delta max) of the pulse-duty factor and the minimum value ( delta min) of the pulse-duty factor, the circuit configuration issues a control information corresponding to said limit error.
