[origin: DE10201847C1] Locking device produces a fixed and removable connection for a waste water channel consisting of a frame (1) and a cover (2). A pocket for a fixing device is arranged below the frame. The fixing device is alternatively a screw bolt for a screw connection or a locking bolt (8) for a fixed and removable spring snap connection. A cassette with a threaded plate and a bracing spring (6) is inserted in the pocket as a fixing device. Preferred Features: The threaded plate and the bracing spring are arranged axially on top of each other in the cassette which is surrounded by a housing. The bracing spring is fixed in the rear wall of the housing.
