Handle connection comprises of a pair (10) of shells (12, 14) for fixing on both sides of a door leaf and having recessed bases (15). The shells are peripherally inserted into a transverse bore in the door leaf so that they lie on the door leaf with a flat collar flange (16) coaxially opposite each other. The handle connection also comprises a square device (20) having two parts rotatably connected to and telescopically engaging between the shell bases. The two square device parts are clamped together with their inner ends and are surrounded by a securing body (30). Preferred Features: One square device part is a smooth sleeve having a square cross-section and the other square device part is a pin fitting in the sleeve in a form-locking and rotationally fixed manner.

Zwei nach außen konkave Muscheln oder Schalen (12, 14) bilden ein Griffpaar. Sie werden in einer Querbohrung (Q) eines Türblatts (B) einander koaxial gegenüberstehend eingelassen und erfindungsgemäß durch einen zweiteiligen Vierkant (20) verbunden. Dieser hat einen Hülsenteil (24) von quadratischem Querschnitt, in den formschlüssig und drehfest ein Stift (22) mit einem bevorzugt hohlen Ende (35) einpaßbar ist, das außen wenigstens eine Aufwölbung oder Klemmnase (34) mit zumindest einer Klemmkante (36) aufweist. Im Klemmbereich der zusammengesteckten Elemente (22), (24) durchsetzen sie einen Sicherungsring (30), vorzugsweise die Schloßnuß (40) eines in eine Tasche (T) des Türblatts (B) eingesetzten Einsteckschlosses (E). Beide Elemente (22, 24) des Vierkants (20) - oder nur eines - können aus Kunststoff bestehen und Köpfe (26; 28) haben, die im je zugeordneten Schalenboden (15) drehbar gelagert und zum Lösen der Verbindung mit einem Hilfswerkzeug hintergreifbar sind. <IMAGE>
