[origin: EP1398448A2] Motor-driven door, especially a garage door, comprises a motor which is connected to a gear device so that it can be removed and/or uncoupled. The door leaf does not have its own lock and/or locking devices. The movement resistance of the gear device even without the motor connected or with the motor uncoupled is greater than the minimum pressure force (37) required to move a locking element (213) from a release position into a locking position. An Independent claim is also included for a process for locking/unlocking a motor-driven door with a door leaf and without its own locking device when the motor is removed from or uncoupled from the door.
