Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1398580A2] Helical heat exchanger (1) comprises an inlet and an outlet. The region (4) in which the inlet enters the helix and the region (5) in which the outlet exits the helix do not overlap when viewed in the direction of the central axis (6) of the helix. Preferred Features: The heat exchanger has at least two turns. The region between the inlet and outlet in the direction of the periphery of the circle is small, preferably less than 90degrees.
