Abstract (en)
The machine for fitting square timbers (4) under a package (3) in a strapping machine has a slide which feeds the timbers transversely at the same time that the package is being fed into the machine. A lift (14) then raises them until they pressed against the package in the correct position, after which the package and timbers are fed on to the strap (20) and strapped.
