[origin: EP1400644A1] The spring-loaded catch (3,4) is locked in its catch position by a releasable locking device which has a swivel control lever (9) which is spring-loaded in the locking position. When closing the bonnet which is raised beyond the gap position the control lever interacting with the closing bar (7,8) swivels into an unlocking position which releases the locking device and remains here until the catch and bar are swivelled away against the spring tension. The catch after reaching the gap opening position engages behind the closing bar and the control lever swivels into its locking position.
