Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1400693A2] The pump (10) has a spiral rotor (36) in a looped stator chamber and a drive shaft (16) linking the rotor to a drive (12). The drive shaft is connected via a releasable connection to the drive or to a transmission (14). After release, it can be exchanged along with the rotor, stator (38), seal (18) and if necessary with part of the pump housing (26).
