The switch has a position indicator comprising a displaceable indicating flag (12) provided with an indicating panel. The indicating flag is connected to a switch drive so that the indicating panel is visible from outside through a window (11) in the housing to indicate a corresponding operating state. The indicating flag is made of a bendable material such as plastics or elastomer film.

Es wir ein elektrisches Schaltgerät (1) mit einer besonders einfach aufgebauten Schaltstellungsanzeige (10) angegeben, wobei die Schaltstellungsanzeige (10) eine mit mindestens einem Anzeigefeld (16) versehene, verschiebbar geführte Anzeigefahne (12) umfasst. Die Anzeigefahne ist dabei derart mit einem Schaltantrieb (4) antriebsmäßig verbunden, dass das Anzeigefeld (16a,16b) in einer Anzeigestellung zur Kenntlichmachung eines korrespondierenden Betriebszustands durch ein Gehäusefenster (11) von außen sichtbar ist. <IMAGE>
