[origin: DE10130205A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve (1) for fuel-injection engines. Said valve comprises a valve needle (3), which interacts with a valve seat surface (6) to form a seal seat and an armature (20), which acts upon the valve needle (3), whereby the armature (20) can be axially displaced on the valve needle (3). The armature is also damped in relation to a pot-shaped casing (31) that is located downstream of the armature (20) and connected to the valve needle (3) in a non-positive fit, by means of a damping element (32), which is located in a recess (35) in a downstream front face (34) of the armature (20). The fuel-injection valve also comprises a filter element (25b), which is located downstream of the armature (20) in the pot-shaped casing (31).
