[origin: WO03001053A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve (1) for fuel-injection systems of internal combustion engines. Said valve comprises an actuator, a valve needle (3) that can be actuated by the actuator for operating a valve closing body (4), which forms a seal seat with a valve-seat surface (6) that is configured on a valve-seat body (5) and at least one injection orifice (7), which is configured in the valve-seat body (5). A flame-resistant screen (37) is positioned at the outflow end (42) of the fuel-injection valve (1), which shields the injection orifices (7) from the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine.
