Abstract (en)

The method involves obtaining one or more sets of radial peripheral vanes on a cylindrical billet (11). The cylindrical billet is obtained through an axial compression (P1) by forging. A cavity (13) extending over a part of the billet is formed using a punch (12) that is forced into the cylindrical billet. The billet is bored and is then submitted to heat treatment. An independent claim is also included for a rotor for a turbine pump.
